Commitment is the principle, preaching is the precept, and a changed life is the responsibility 2 Corinthians 5:17.
DISCIPLESHIP IS THE PRINCIPLE Matthew 28:18-20.
Discipleship is the principle, preparation (teaching) is the precept, and soul winning is the responsibility.
2 Timothy 2:15, “Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.” Verse 9, “Wherein I suffer trouble, as an evil doer, even unto bonds, but the word of God is not bound.”
John 14:23-24, “And the Lord said unto the servant, Go out into the highways and hedges, and compel them to come in, that my house may be filled. For I say unto you, That none of those men which were bidden shall taste of my supper.”
WORKMANSHIP IS THE PRINCIPLE Ephesians 2:10.
Workmanship is the principle, leadership is the precept, and Christ likeness is the responsibility. Philippians 1:3-11; 2:1-8; 3:14-17.
It is really interesting to note that Jesus in Matthew chapter ten gave charge to the twelve and in chapter sixteen He gave charge to the church. Let me say in closing, that all these are our responsibilities, and not ours only but every person who calls himself/herself a Christian.
Yes, we are Ambassador’s for Christ and for that reason we must humble ourselves in serving. Follow our leader and be willing to make a personal sacrifice by making a commitment to live for others.
The question is: are you living up to your Christian responsibilities?
