“HOW CAN I KNOW HIM BETTER?” Part 2.

We are not saved by giving our hearts to Jesus or making some kind of a commitment, but by believing on Him who died for our sin. We need to say, “Lord, forgive me for forgetting.”

Moses had a secret prayer life until his face shone.

Jacob was alone with God and his name was changed to Israel.

David Brainerd prayed until he changed the American Indian.

Jesus prayed until He gave it all.

Take time to be Holy; go to bed and get up in an attitude of prayer, and then He will reveal Himself to you.

WATCH YOURSELF IN SIN!

He will never leave you if you sin, but hide His face from you.

Isaiah 59:1-2, “Behold, the LORD’S hand is not shortened, that it cannot save; neither his ear heavy, that it cannot hear: But your iniquities have separated between you and your God, and your sins have hid his face from you, that he will not hear.”

It is the little foxes: the little foxes of envy, jealousy and hatred.

If there is sin, there is really no need to pray.

Psalm 66:18, ‘If I regard iniquity in my heart, the Lord will not hear me:’

Someone said, ‘You need to clean up your own door step before you come to mine.’

TELL OTHERS ABOUT JESUS IF YOU WANT TO KNOW HIM BETTER!

Go into all the world and preach the gospel is a command to all of us.

You and I were saved to work. We were not saved by works, but we are to work after salvation. We were saved to tell the story and be sold out for him.
