“QUALITIES OF A CHRISTIAN FAMILY!”

Psalms 127; 128; Colossians 3:12-17; Matthew 18:1-7

It should be the goal of every family here tonight to be a success, and no one should fall due to lack of knowledge or commitment.

Several basic principles: the father is the head – the house holder.

The wife is the home maker and children are the home breakers, ha.

When you think of the perfect family, what do you think of?

None of us really know; however, some of the qualities are:

A CONSISTENT SEEKING TO BRING GLORY TO GOD

Ephesians 1:12, “That we should be to the praise of his glory, who first trusted in Christ.”

2 Thessalonians 1:11-12, “Wherefore also we pray always for you, that our God would count you worthy of this calling, and fulfil all the good pleasure of his goodness, and the work of faith with power: That the name of our Lord Jesus Christ may be glorified in you, and ye in him, according to the grace of our God and the Lord Jesus Christ.”

Ephesians 3:21, “Unto him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus throughout all ages, world without end. Amen.”

Revelation 4:11, “Thou art worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honour and power: for thou hast created all things, and for thy pleasure they are and were created.” Verse 9, “And when those beasts give glory and honour and thanks to him that sat on the throne, who liveth for ever and ever.”

Revelation 5:12, “Saying with a loud voice, Worthy is the Lamb that was slain to receive power, and riches, and wisdom, and strength, and honour, and glory, and blessing.”

This should certainly be the goal of every family today – to bring glory to God.
