The Word of God is not just read, but studied and applied to the home, and to every aspect of life. The family must live out the Word of God.

Philippians 2:13, “For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure.” 4:6, “Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ.” 3:10, “That I may know him, and the power of his resurrection, and the fellowship of his sufferings, being made conformable unto his death.”

Romans 8:28-29, “And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose. For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren.”

The Christian approaches life different than the unsaved.

They live “daily” under the providence and a resignation to the will of God in all things.

They recognize that the wisdom of God is greater than men, and they walk in the strength that God is working out their lives in His will and plan. They know what it is to be free of worry and anxious care.

The life of the Christian home ought to be very different than that of the unsaved, or the carnal Christian home.
