“MEDITATION!” Conclusion!

Acts 14:17, “Nevertheless he left not himself without witness, in that he did good, and gave us rain from heaven, and fruitful seasons, filling our hearts with food and gladness.”

  • REFLECT ON PAST, PRESENT AND FUTURE MARVELS.

Past, Mark 14:72, “And the second time the cock crew. And Peter called to mind the word that Jesus said unto him, Before the cock crow twice, thou shalt deny me thrice. And when he thought thereon, he wept.”

Present, Luke 14:31-33, “Or what king, going to make war against another king, sitteth not down first, and consulteth whether he be able with ten thousand to meet him that cometh against him with twenty thousand? Or else, while the other is yet a great way off, he sendeth an ambassage, and desireth conditions of peace. So likewise, whosoever he be of you that forsaketh not all that he hath, he cannot be my disciple.”

Future, Acts 21:12-14, “And when we heard these things, both we, and they of that place, besought him not to go up to Jerusalem. Then Paul answered, What mean ye to weep and to break mine heart? for I am ready not to be bound only, but also to die at Jerusalem for the name of the Lord Jesus. And when he would not be persuaded, we ceased, saying, The will of the Lord be done.”

How? It takes,

A SEASON OF TIME. We must plan to be spiritual not just hope it happens, and when I pray, “Pray without ceasing.”

A STILLNESS AND SILENCE before God. “Be still and know I am God.” Psalm 46:10.

A SENSITIVE SPIRIT.

A place of SECLUSION. Isaiah 30:15, “For thus saith the Lord GOD, the Holy One of Israel; In returning and rest shall ye be saved; in quietness and in confidence shall be your strength: and ye would not.”

A SUBMISSION to His Commands Psalm 119:11-16.

Now, Look at the blessed result of all this:

  1. You will have a new PERSPECTIVE in your daily life.
  2. Your old carnal and worldly PRESSURES will begin to dissipate.

Now we are ready to:

REMEMBER ALL THESE IN MEDITATION VERSES 11-15.

And, make your requests for: peace, positive attitude, and passion for obedience, power of God, personal relationship, purity, and submissive spirit.

Conclusion: The end result, after meditation will be to surrender, yield and forsake.
