“SEVEN SECRETS TO SPIRITUAL SURVIVAL!

John 5:39-47

There are several things every Christian ought to do every day to keep his heart sweet towards the Lord. Paul said in 1 Corinthians 11:28, “Let a man examine himself.’ David prayed in Psalm 139:23-24, Search me, O God, and know my heart: try me, and know my thoughts: And see if there be any wicked way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting.”

Do you know where you are in relationship to the Bible?

You say, “Preacher, how can I survive spiritually in these troubled  days?”

SEARCH THE SCRIPTURE AND PRAY EVERYDAY.

Develop a regular Bible reading program. We will do all we can to help you in every way possible, but ultimately the work is yours.

Psalm 119:105, “Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path.”

They Bible says, “They searched the scriptures daily, whether those things were so.”

Every Sunday school teacher, Christian worker and staff member ought to read the Bible through at least one time each year. No wonder so many fall by the way-side. They do not spend time in the Word of God.

When you pray; pray to receive answers. Not just public prayer, but let the Lord get hold of your heart in your secret prayer closet.

Matthew 6:5-6, “And when thou prayest, thou shalt not be as the hypocrites are: for they love to pray standing in the synagogues and in the corners of the streets, that they may be seen of men. Verily I say unto you, They have their reward. But thou, when thou prayest, enter into thy closet, and when thou hast shut thy door, pray to thy Father which is in secret; and thy Father which seeth in secret shall reward thee openly.”
