The psalmist had it right in Psalm 119:165, “Great peace have they which love thy law: and nothing shall offend them.”
A FEELING OF BEING TRAPPED BECAUSE OF PRESSURE
Going nowhere fast! Is there one among us who has not been there? A good way to help overcome this feeling is to be led of God to start things, not because of being pressured by someone or something. Be patient, and keep working at it.
NOT ACCEPTING GOD’S FORGIVENESS
We must learn to put our sin under the blood of Christ and forget it.
1 John 1:9, “If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.”
Weariness and exhaustion will surely follow if we do not forget about our sin or weakness; soon we become ineffective in our duties. That leads us to,
GUILT OVER PAST SIN
Please meditate on Matthew 27:1-10. Judas confessed but not to Jesus. He felt guilt but went to the wrong place for confession – the priests. As wicked as his sin was, he could have experienced forgiveness had he confessed his sin to Jesus.
