Read 1 Corithians 6:15-20.
Here are two questions for you to consider –
1. Do you love what God loves?
2. Do you hate what God hates?
What does God love?
I. WE KNOW FOR CERTAIN THAT GOD LOVES HOLINESS.
Can you say you love holiness, or do you tolerate it? We are talking about personal holiness. Did He get all He purchased when He purchased you? Did you surrender it all to Him?
Ladies, do you dress holy? Men do you teach her to be holy? Let’s all ask God to give us holiness and love holy things; and then live what we were given.
Love what God loves – what does God love?
II. GOD LOVES SINNERS – SOULS.
The question here is – do you love souls?
By the way, did He get all He purchased when He purchased you?
Now, let’s look at what God hates:
I. WE ALL KNOW THAT GOD HATES SIN.
The big question tonight is, “do we hate sin?”
Remember, it is sin that put Jesus on the cross.
Sin makes young people turn out bad. The other thing is that sin often keeps them from getting older.
What does God hate?
II. GOD HATES A STATE OF LUKE-WARMNESS.
God hates it: Look at Revelation 3:14-22. Where God gives us a message to a lukewarm church – Laodecea.
Think on Luke-warmness – how about our coffee, food, etc. Oh by the way, “Did God get all He purchased when He purchased you?”
