Think about Gilgal, and its significance.
The Christian life is more than having a good time, fun and games or living in a comfort zone.
But, the Christian life is a warfare, that is fighting our daily battles yes, but also the battles of life that can only be won in the power of God.
Think of it: God has a plan for your life and mine. All we have to do is follow His steps.
Look at Deuteronomy 20:1-4. Don’t be afraid if the opposition has more than you do. God is saying I will fight the battle for you.
You say, why do we always have to fight, shed blood, etc. Well, listen; God did not make a mistake: Psalm 139.
I. GOD HAS A PLAN FOR YOU Deuteronmy 20:1-4.
There is His plan.
There is your plan.
There is no plan.
II. GOD HAS A PROMISE OF DELIVERENCE and VICTORY.
This is good: 11:6, He will give the victory.
Zechariah 2:8, “For thus saith the LORD of hosts; After the glory hath he sent me unto the nations which spoiled you: for he that toucheth you toucheth the apple of his eye.”
John 10:28, “And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand.”
Romans 16:2, “And the God of peace shall bruise Satan under your feet shortly. The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you. Amen.”
