You get God involved in your life and battles and it will be different.
A. Hear His Promises.
B. Claim His Promises, 11:7.
Hebrews 11:11, “Through faith also Sara herself received strength to conceive seed, and was delivered of a child when she was past age, because she judged him faithful who had promised.”
I Thessalonians 5:24, “Faithful is he that calleth you, who also will do it.”
Stay with His Promises unto death.
Here is what I am saying: Joshua just kept on trusting. I thought of the many promises claimed in my own life.
Yesterday we learned:
I. GOD HAS A PLAN
II. GOD HAS A PROMISE
III. GOD HAS THE PRECEPT 11:6.
God wants us to do our part, “Hough the horses.” Hebrew “Aqar (aw-kar”); dig down, hough, pluck up, root up.
Psalm 27:14, “Wait on the LORD: be of good courage, and he shall strengthen thine heart: wait, I say, on the LORD.”
God wants us to do our part. “thou shalt” is the precept.
Philippians 2:12, “Wherefore, my beloved, as ye have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling.”
We need to tap His resources. “Go ye therefore.”
Don’t get in the COMFORT ZONE! This is not the comfort zone – this is church.
