Read Genesis 37;1-11 again.
God had a purpose for Joseph to be in PRISON. To one day be under Pharaoh. As you know, he was falsely accused by Potiphar’s wife (because she tore off a part of his garment) 39:13, and cast him into prison 39:20-.
God had a purpose in Joseph being in prison, maybe not only to interpret the dreams of the Butler, Baker as well as Pharaoh’s, but to promote him further.
On the other hand, it may have been just to show that God will be with him 39:20, chapter 40. That brings us to,
III. DON’T MISS HIS PRESENCE – JOSEPH IN THE PALACE.
I. DON’T MISS HIS PLAN.
II. DON’T MISS HIS PURPOSE.
III. DON’T MISS HIS PRESENCE.
IV. DON’T MISS HIS PROVISION – JOSEPH IN PROSPERITY 45:7-8.
Joseph knew that God had a PLAN for his life. There was a PURPOSE in that plan, and he would have God’s PRESENCE, and he gave him PROSPERITY to help not only his own family but an entire nation.
PRAISE GOD FOR HIS PLAN!
