Read Mark 5;25-34
It was not enough to believe in secret, she had to be brought to the point of:
I. REALIZING HER PROBLEM IS A SIN PROBLEM.
Man cannot help us verse 26.
Money cannot help us verse 26.
I remember years ago Ted Turner said he wants to go to hell to make it better? And all the money of a Bill Gates cannot help you when it comes to your sin.
II. REALIZING THAT HER SAVIOUR IS A REAL PERSON.
Turn to Him.
Trust in Him verse 28, Ephesians 2:8-9.
III. REALIZING THAT HER SALVATION IS GOD’S PLAN VERSE 29.
2 Corinthians 5:17, “Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.”
It is an act of regeneration verse 30-33
It results in sanctification verse 34.
IV. REALIZING THAT HER SECURITY IS A PROMISE VERSE 34.
Promise of faith and peace.
Romans 14:17, “For the kingdom of God is not meat and drink; but righteousness, and peace, and joy in the Holy Ghost.”
A promise of hope in midst of tribulation.
John 16:33, “These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.”
1 John 4:4, “Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world.”
Proverbs 18:24, “A man that hath friends must shew himself friendly: and there is a friend that sticketh closer than a brother.”
