“FAINT NOT!” CONCLUSION!

Read 2 Corinthians 4:1-18 again.
We covered, FAINT NOT IN PRAYER, IN PERSEVERENCE, now
III. FAINT NOT IN PRESERVATION!
Verse 16, “For which cause we faint not; but though our outward man perish, yet the inward man is renewed day by day.”
IV. FAINT NOT IN PREPARATION!
That is, faint not in your work and service for God.
Galatians 6:7, Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap. V. 9, And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.
V. FAINT NOT IN POWER!
That is, faint not in trusting.
Ephesians 3: 13, “Wherefore I desire that ye faint not at my tribulations for you, which is your glory.”
So, the key word would then be trust:
Psalm 31:1, “In thee, O LORD, do I put my trust; let me never be ashamed: deliver me in thy righteousness.” 31:6, “I have hated them that regard lying vanities: but I trust in the LORD.” 31:14, “But I trusted in thee, O LORD: I said, Thou art my God.”
VI. FAINT NOT IN PRACTICE!
That is, faint not in well doing. 2 Thessalonians 3:13, “But ye, brethren, be not weary in well doing.” Isaiah 40:28-31.
VII. FAINT NOT IN PATIENCE!
That is, faint not in chastening. Hebrews 12: 5.
Remember, when you come to the place of despair and lack of courage – flee go God, trust, and let God Be God in all these seven areas.
