FAITH!

Hebrews 11:23-29
 
The aim of this message is to teach out students to live by faith.
 
I. THE REFUSAL OF FAITH! VERSE 24
 
Acts 7:21-24, “And when he was cast out, Pharaoh’s daughter took him up, and nourished him for her own son. And Moses was learned in all the wisdom of the Egyptians, and was mighty in words and in deeds. And when he was full forty years old, it came into his heart to visit his brethren the children of Israel. And seeing one [of them] suffer wrong, he defended [him], and avenged him that was oppressed, and smote the Egyptian:”
 
II. THE CHOICE OF FAITH! VERSE 25
 
I Peter 1:6, “Wherein ye greatly rejoice, though now for a season, if need be, ye are in heaviness through manifold temptations.”
 
I Peter 1:7, “That the trial of your faith, being much more precious than of gold that perisheth, though it be tried with fire, might be found unto praise and honour and glory at the appearing of Jesus Christ:”
 
III. THE CALCULATION OF FAITH! “REPROACH” VERSE 26
 
10:33, “Partly, whilst ye were made a gazingstock both by reproaches and afflictions; and partly, whilst ye became companions of them that were so used.”
 
10:35, “Cast not away therefore your confidence, which hath great recompence of reward.”
 
11:6, “But without faith [it is] impossible to please [him]: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and [that] he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.”
