Proverbs 9:10, “The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom: and the knowledge of the holy is understanding.”
III. THE FILLING OF FAITH IN VERSE 8.
Galatians 5:22, “But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith,”
Ephesians 2:8, “For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:”
- Faith for salvation. Mark 16:16, “He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned.”
- Faith for service. Look at Hebrews 11:1-6.
- Faith for sanctified living.
- Faith is believing.
- Faith is responding.
- Faith is receiving.
We want to receive and then believe that is humanism. Look at the examples of Abram and Sarah with the baby.
IV. THE FILLING OF GRACE.
1. Grace towards others.
2. Grace towards self.
V. THE FILLING OF POWER.
- Power in prayer.
- Power in persecution.
“FIVE BIBLE FILLINGS” – it all starts with salvation!
