“FIVE DANGEROUS D’S” CONCLUSION!

Read 1 Kings 19:1-8.

Yesterday we covered, DISCOURAGEMENT, DISTRACTED and DISSALUSIAMENT, today:

DISTRUST. The Bible says in Proverbs 3:5-6, “Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.” Once we get discouraged and distracted and disillusioned, distrust will always follow. Why not just believe and trust in God? Don’t be hard on yourself or on others. Simply depend on God. Otherwise, we may end up in:

DESPAIR. Don’t let despair stop you from allowing God to work His will in your life. There will be dark days, and it will seem like there is no hope, nobody cares, nothing good ever happens to you, and self-pity begins to rule your life. Look to

Romans 8:28. When these 5 D’s come, don’t stop, don’t quit, don’t get sidetracked, stay on the main job, on course, with your cause, and eventually, it will pay off. God said to Joshua, “My servant Moses is dead.” In other words, he instructed Joshua to arise and get busy. This is not a bad idea for each of us – to get busy and stay busy about serving God and allow Him to be: Our Conqueror!

God bless! And hope this has been a help to you.
