Read Acts 8:26-40.

Yesterday we covered, I. THE APPROACH and II. THE APPEAL and today;

Now, take a few moments to:

A. Review the four main points, making sure he understands.
B. Ask him to bow his head for prayer, and say, “If I lead us in prayer would you be willing to ask Jesus to be your Saviour?”
C. After you pray a brief prayer then lead him to pray the sinner’s prayer.
D. Ask him to shake your hand if he has received Christ.
E. Then you lead in prayer thanking the Lord for saving him.
F. Ask, according to Romans 10:9-10 where would you go if you were to die right now? Heaven!
G. Give him the assurance of his salvation if you believe in your heart that he was truly saved. (I personally never give assurance until I feel certain that the decision was sincere and real). If you are certain then lead him to understand that he is saved using: 1 John 5:9-10, “If we receive the witness of men, the witness of God is greater: for this is the witness of God which he hath testified of his Son. He that believeth on the Son of God hath the witness in himself: he that believeth not God hath made him a liar; because he believeth not the record that God gave of his Son.”
H. Lead him to a public profession using: Romans 10:11, “Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed.” Matthew 10:32-22, “Whosoever therefore shall confess me before men, him will I confess also before my Father which is in heaven. But whosoever shall deny me before men, him will I also deny before my Father which is in heaven.”
Also warn him that Satan will try to stop him but to do it for Jesus. Then pray with him having him promise God that he will attend your Church on this coming Sunday morning.
I. Pick him up on Sunday morning. Sit with him or have someone else. During the invitation tell him you will go down the aisle with him.
J. Be a friend to him.
K. Disciple him and invite him to go soul-winning with you next week.

The challenge is to be a soul-winner!
