Read Ezekiel 22:30-31.
We said, I. “I SOUGHT FOR A MAN!”
II. TO MAKE UP THE HEDGE!
Strong, to build up. Now is the time to build, repair, etc. Remember, Nehemiah wept over the fallen wall. There was no protection from the enemy.
Jerusalem was defeated, but Nehemiah was the man God used to build the wall and rebuild Jerusalem. Paul wrote to Timothy, “take heed to thy doctrine.”
III., AND STAND IN THE GAP!
That is, to stand firm upon the Word of God.
David said, “I shall not be moved.”We need men to stand firm, to intercede, to be a go-between.
A. We need men to stand in righteousness: Please read Psalm 15:1-5.
B. We need men to stand in Faith:
C. We need men to stand in the love of Christ.
D. We need men to stand in and for their convictions.
Acts 20:24,“But none of these things move me, neither count I my life dear unto myself, so that I might finish my course with joy, and the ministry, which I have received of the Lord Jesus, to testify the gospel of the grace of God.”
E. We need men, woman, teens and children to stand for and in truth. “The truth shall make you free.”
The result of not finding a man is verse 31 Will you be that man?
