“GIVING THANKS UNTO THE LORD”!

Psalm 105-1-5

In my ministry I have always tried to make November a month of thanksgiving; that is making the entire month, a month of giving thanks unto the Lord.

December should be the month OF GIVING UNTO THE LORD!

Psalm 105 is probably a Psalm of David. The first 15 verses were used as songs at the carrying of the to Jerusalem.

Verse 1, He is the Author of all benefits.
Verse 2, Sing unto Him and think of what He has done for you.
Verse 3, Glory ye. Make it a matter of joy.
Verse 3-4, Seek is used three times: Him, strength, face.
Verse 5, Remember, these good times.

We always remember the evil.

I. PRAISE GOD FOR FORMER MERCIES.
II. PRAY TO GOD FOR FURTHER MERCIES.
III. PUBLISH HIS FAMOUS MERCIES.

In the first five verses he gives a series of spiritual exercises.

Give thanks, call upon His name, make known, sing, talk, glory, rejoice, seek and remember.
