ABOUT

nikoley

Preacher, pastor, conference speaker, author, prayer warrior, loving husband, father and grandfather, all of these describe Dr. Hans A. Nikoley. Dr. Nikoley was born in Stettin, which was then part of Germany but is now a part of Poland. He grew up during the Nazi rule in , where one brother died in infancy because of the horrible wartime conditions. After the war, his family was able to immigrate to the United States and lived in Reno, Nevada. Through hard work, he began to realize the American dream and was a very successful Realtor® in Reno. His wife Mary and two children were saved through the ministry of Child Evangelism Fellowship, and he noticed a dramatic change in their lives. While he did not know what it was, he knew he wanted that same change in his life. Although he was a member of a church, he had never accepted Jesus Christ as his personal Saviour. A short time later, he too accepted Christ and was saved. God began to work in his life, and he felt the call of God upon him. He packed up his family and went to Bible College. Upon graduation, he pastored a church in Turlock, California, and had a very successful ministry there. God soon began to move in his heart once again to go to Poway, California to pastor Pomerado Road Baptist Church. He was the pastor there for over 26 years. Recently he felt God calling him into yet another field of ministry; that of teaching in the Bible Department at Golden State Baptist College, a ministry of North Valley Baptist Church in Santa Clara, California. Under the leadership of Dr. Jack Trieber, the church and College have seen a tremendous growth in over three decades. Dr. Nikoley loves people and his greatest desire is to see them saved, come to understand the Word of God and to serve the Lord for a lifetime.
